Pelvic Floor Pain: Understanding, Regulating & Reconnecting
Join psychologist and sex therapist Emily and yoga teacher Luisa for a 90-minute online webinar exploring pelvic floor pain through both psychological and body-based perspectives.
Pelvic floor pain is more common than many people realise, yet it is often misunderstood, under-discussed, and difficult to navigate alone. This 90-minute online webinar offers an integrative approach that combines psychological education with gentle, body-based practices to support awareness, regulation, and healing.
During this session Emily, psychologist and sex therapist will guide you through the foundations of pelvic floor pain. You will learn how the pelvic floor functions, how pain can develop, and how factors such as stress, emotional experiences, nervous system responses, and sexual wellbeing can influence pelvic health.
In the second part of the webinar Luisa, yoga teacher and trauma-informed movement coach will guide you through a gentle, trauma-sensitive practice designed to help regulate the nervous system and reconnect with the pelvic area in a safe and supportive way. The practice will include breathing techniques, nervous system regulation, and simple movements that encourage relaxation, mobility, and awareness of the pelvic floor.
